Security:	As a matter of public safety, individuals entering the Anacapa Division of the Santa Barbara Superior Court may be subject to search and seizure of items identified on the Court’s List of Prohibited Items. Your person, handbag, briefcase, backpack, and any containers may be scanned and/or searched. Leave prohibited items at home or in your vehicle; if confiscated, they will not be returned.
Parking:	Parking is available at the city lot located directly across Anacapa Street from the courthouse. Time-limited street parking is also available.
FREE children’s waiting room	Located at 118 East Figueroa Street, the children's waiting room is available to accommodate children between the ages of 2 ½ to twelve years old whose parent or guardian have court hearings and court business to attend. The service is provided free of charge and is funded from mandated civil filing fees.
