Grand Jury

If you have received a Trial Jury Summons, examine the entire document carefully for the following information:

  • Jury Pool Number
  • Tentative Reporting Date
  • Phone number for the assigned court. You will need to call the appropriate phone number after 5:00 PM the evening prior to your tentative reporting date for the reporting instructions for your pool.
Have your summons handy when calling. A pre-recorded message will tell you if your designated jury pool number is scheduled to report for service. The purpose of the recorded message is to minimize the number of jurors reporting to the courthouse, thus making your service more convenient and saving costs for all taxpayers. You MUST bring your summons with you when you report for duty.

You must call the recorded message system phone number as directed during the on-call period to learn if your jury pool number is required to report for service. If your jury pool number is not directed to report in during your on-call period, you will be released as instructed on the recorded message.
