CONSERVATORSHIP

Nature of Proceedings: Final Account

The court's records indicate the conservatee died in July 2009.  A conservatorship of the 
person is terminated by the death of the conservatee.  [Prob. Code, § 1860.]  At the July 17, 
2009 hearing, the court ordered a final accounting.  No accounting has yet been submitted.  

The matter may not be recommended for approval until the final accounting has been 
received and approved by the court.  The accounting should comply with Probate Code 
section 2620(b) and (c) and the conservator should give notice as required by Probate 
Code sections 2621 and 1460.
